A new OPTICON contract under Horizon 2020 started on the 1st of January 2017. A new website, using the same url, is being created and will soon replace these pages.

Fizeau Exchange Programme in Optical Interferometry

The Fizeau Exchange Visitors Programme in optical interferometry funds (travel and accommodation) visits of researchers to an institute of his/her choice (within the EC) to perform collaborative work and training on one of the active topics of the European Interferometry Initiative. The visits will typically last for one month, and strengthen the network of astronomers engaged in technical, scientific and training work on optical/infrared interferometry. The programme is open for all levels of astronomers (Ph.D. students to tenured staff). Further information and application forms can be found at www.european-interferometry.eu. (NB. The deadlines for applications are the 15th March and the 15th September for visits starting 1st May and 1st November, respectively).

The OPTICON FP7 Part I contract closed on 31 December 2012. The new FP7-II contract has been awarded and will run until 2016.
