Welcome to OPTICON, the Optical Infrared Coordination Network.

OPTICON is a project which has been approved for fundig by the European commission as part of its Sixth Framework Programme (FP6) . At the moment the details of the contract are still being negotiated with Brussels so this page will be updated once the final details are clear and the contract has been signed. A note to OPTICON partners on the situation as of late January 2004 can be found here
