New OPTICON Time Allocation process
OPTICON kicks off its new single Time Allocation Committee for reviewing proposals for OPTICON time at all the telescopes. Read the Announcement here (this page is also linked from the Transnational Access page).
OPTICON FP7 First Annual Report:
It is time to start writing our first perodic report to cover the period from 1-Jan-2009 to 31-12-2009. A summary of the reporting requirements can found on the EU site: ftp://ftp.cordis.europa.eu/pub/fp7/docs/project_reporting_en.pdf (PDF file). It would be helpful if the information could be sent to John Davies by Monday 1st February (preferably using MS Word).
OPTICON FP7 STATUS:
The fully signed OPTICON FP7 Grant Agreement kicked off the FP7 work and contracts and initiated the payment process. We hope the pre-financing payment will arrive in the summer.
